Comments Off on Sapphire Radeon RX 6950 XT Sapphire Nitro+ Pure review
Sapphire has introduced a brand new lineup featuring the impressive Sapphire Radeon RX 6950 XT Sapphire Nitro+ Pure. The factory overclocked cards excel in terms of cooling performance. In 2022, AMD is refreshing its RDNA 2 graphics card range with updated models. These are not entirely new cards, but rather improved versions based on the existing RDNA 2 architecture. The key upgrade is the use of faster memory, with all cards now equipped with up to 18Gbps GDDR6 memory chips, compared to 16Gbps on previous models. While some AIBs may offer the 6650 XT with 17.5 Gbps memory, overclocked models will have 18 Gbps. The GPUs themselves remain similar to their predecessors but come with higher memory and boost/game clock speeds. The AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT will outperform the Radeon RX 6900 XT, the Radeon RX 6750 XT will surpass the Radeon RX 6700 XT, and the Radeon RX 6650 XT will be better than the Radeon RX 6600 XT. This lineup can be seen as AMD’s own ‘SUPER’ series, with no major changes in shader and RT counts. The focus is on delivering performance gains of 5-10%, with memory playing a crucial role in achieving this. The new lineup includes:

Sapphire Radeon RX 6950 XT Nitro Pure Edition.
Sapphire has introduced three new RX 6950 XT graphics cards, including models from the NITRO+ series and the TOXIC line. These cards closely resemble the RX 6900 XT in terms of design and physical features. The RX 6950 XT Nitro+ PURE in white is particularly noteworthy, featuring RGB lit fans and predominantly white heatsinks. Similar to the RX 6900 XT Nitro+, this variant comes with three power inputs – two 8-pin PCIe power connections and a single 6-pin PCIe power cable. The specifications of Sapphire’s Radeon RX 6950 XT graphics cards are intricate, as they offer a triple BIOS mode, including a TRIXX software-based option, a performance mode, and a silent mode. We have tested the performance mode, which surprisingly remains 100% silent, boasting a 2368 MHz Boost clock and a memory clock speed of 18 Gbps. The starting price for AMD’s RX 6950 XT is set at.
