Lian Li’s Gaming Desk Features Built-In, Transparent OLED Display

The vendor is showcasing a new prototype DK-07 desk featuring a transparent OLED screen capable of displaying images above your PC components.

Lian Li, a PC case vendor, has taken a bold approach by introducing a gaming desk equipped with a transparent OLED screen on its surface.

The DK-07 prototype desk, created by Lian Li, serves a dual purpose as a PC case. This innovative design was showcased during a virtual event on YouTube, with a previous version being previewed at Computex 2023. The earlier model included a spacious compartment beneath the desk for storing all PC parts, such as water cooling systems. Moreover, the desk boasted a unique feature of “switchable” glass on the surface, allowing it to transition from transparent to opaque.

Lian Li has chosen to elevate the desk further by incorporating a 30-inch transparent OLED screen from LG onto the surface, positioned directly above the PC components.

The DK-07 also offers various additional advantages, such as a cup holder that can be adjusted to maintain your beverage at the desired temperature, whether cool or warm, as stated by Lian Li. Positioned in the top-left corner, there is a convenient retractable USB hub that can be easily accessed by pressing a button. Furthermore, the desk provides ample space within the chamber to accommodate PC cooling fans.
