Gigabyte recently introduced the Aorus C400 Glass mid-tower PC case, a recipient of the prestigious 2024 Red Dot Design Award. This innovative case boasts a vertical airflow cooling system housed in a 40-liter chassis, ensuring a compact yet high-performance design. With its tool-less assembly and wide component compatibility, the Aorus case provides a seamless building experience for users.

The Aorus C400 Glass incorporates an airflow system inspired by the stack effect, which effectively enhances vertical air convection to regulate interior temperatures and facilitate heat dissipation. This is achieved by relocating the PSU mounting location to the upper front. Additionally, the cooling design of this system is further optimized by the presence of large-area vent panels on the bottom, top, and front. These panels minimize obstructions and promote smooth intake and exhaust airflow. To complete this configuration, four 120mm ARGB and PWM fans are pre-installed at the bottom and back, strategically creating an efficient airflow channel.

The C400 Glass may be small in size, but it can fit ATX motherboards, CPU coolers up to 168mm tall, graphics cards up to 360mm long, and PSUs up to 160mm long. It has the capacity for seven 120mm fans for cooling, as well as space for a 360mm radiator at the top and bottom, and a 120mm radiator at the back. Storage options include room for up to three 2.5″ SSDs or five 3.5″ HDDs. Additionally, this case offers the flexibility for both vertical and horizontal GPU installations.

The C400 Glass boasts numerous user-friendly characteristics, such as tool-less panels for effortless access, a detachable bracket for convenient top fan or radiator setup, and dust filters on the front, top, and bottom. Moreover, the integration of a built-in ARGB and PWM hub controller elevates the case’s utility by offering ports for extra RGB strips and cooling fans. Users can easily adjust and manage the fans and RGB lighting through the Gigabyte Control Center.
