After the Pro and Wired models were launched, the Deathadder V3 HyperSpeed emerged as a lightweight mouse in the mid-market segment, boasting an impressive battery life of 100 hours.

Razer has unveiled the Deathadder V3 HyperSpeed gaming mouse, which completes the entire range of its latest esports-oriented clickers. Positioned as a more laid-back alternative to the Pro model, the Deathadder V3 HyperSpeed will be priced at and boasts enhancements in certain crucial aspects compared to its counterpart.

It remains to be seen if the Deathadder V3 HyperSpeed will prove to be one of the top gaming mice on the market. Recently, Razer introduced a wired model, and our experience testing it for the Deathadder V3 review was quite enjoyable.

The Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed features the Razer Focus X 26K optical sensor, which is slightly below the 30K sensor found in the Pro and wired models. Despite this, its battery life of 100 hours surpasses the Pro by approximately 10 hours, and it weighs significantly less at 55g compared to the Pro’s 63g.

In terms of design, the ergonomic shell remains unchanged on both the wired and Pro versions. However, the V3 Hyperspeed features significantly larger feet, following the same design updates seen on the Razer Viper V3 Pro.

The Viper and Deathadder are categorized as Razer’s gaming mice, designed to be lightweight and nimble, offering highly responsive clicks and a great capacity for quick, precise movements. While the Viper follows a symmetrical shape, the Deathadder features a slanted design that is specifically suitable for right-handed users.

The Deathadder V3 HyperSpeed represents the ongoing trend in the industry towards 8KHz polling becoming the norm, however, the exclusive HyperPolling dongle is not bundled with the mouse and must be bought separately. Additionally, the impressive 100-hour battery life significantly decreases to only 20 hours when 8KHz polling is activated.

We will be providing an in-depth analysis of the Deathadder V3 HyperSpeed shortly. In the meantime, feel free to explore our recommendations for the top wireless gaming mice to get an idea of how Razer’s newest mouse compares.
